Flexing my design muscles

It's been a long time coming. It was ugly, and each subsequent hack only made it uglier. The whole thing needed to be put out of it's misery.

I spent about a month sketching out ideas for what I could possibly do to my site to make it not look like I threw it together at the last minute. That process was getting me nowhere, so I decided to drop it and let the ideas just come to me.

A few ideas knocking around

For a while now, I've been wondering what I can do on my site to provide regular content that would actually encourage readers to come back for more on a regular basis. Due to the hectic schedule I tend to keep (hopefully, only for the rest of this academic year), I don't really have the opportunity to do anything more than what I do currently. With that in mind, I have a few ideas kicking around.

Oh yeah. I'm a web designer.

Let's keep it short and simple. If your site cannot be read by Dillo, then you need to go back and reconsider your design.

I didn't say it had to look pretty.

Site Overhaul

Just a quick message. The site is going to be having an overhaul in the next week or so. The other theme I could not get to work with IE, so I'm going to redo the whole thing in a more minimalistic style.

I hate Internet Explorer

Just a quick update: it seems my site works on every single browser (including dillo [meaning it's readable]) except for any version of IE. I still haven't figured out exactly what causes the problem, but I'm sure it's a float clearing or some random IE only glitch that is to blame. For the moment, if you're on IE the footer will be riding up on the content for a bit until I figure out what's going on.

Now with 100% more feeling

This is going to be a rather large, multi-part update, so bear with me.

Starting up once again

Site up and running
It's been an interesting ride, but now I plan on dedicating more time to the site, giving it the TLC it deserves.
