Personal
JFK
Well here I am, taking a much needed mini vacation completely away from San Francisco. Don't get me wrong, I love the city by the Bay, but lately I have been overworking myself to
the extreme.
It comes with the territory, I suppose. After all, I am working nearly full time while being a full time student. It doesn't exactly make for the best in work life balance.
Back from the first Cinematography project
To say I'm exhausted would be an understatement.
I had my first cinematography project shoot today on an Arri S 16mm camera (opens in a new window), as shown on the Film School Student blog I just linked to. Unfortunately I have no pictures of the camera myself, but that's a situation that I will hope to rectify this coming week.
Information Technology Consultant
So this is what it is to have a non-student job...
Living life the digital way
From news to entertainment, money making and money spending, more and more people are spending their lives online. What is it about this medium that attracts people to it like moths to a flame?
Once more, and hopefully for the last time
First off, a little bragging. I finally got a new computer. It's another mac mini.
Humidity is 100%
In case anyone was wondering what 100% humidity looks like, here's the view from my apartment window.
I don't know why I keep going back
I'm doing it again. I'm downloading KDE for my mac.
Oh yeah. I'm a web designer.
Let's keep it short and simple. If your site cannot be read by Dillo, then you need to go back and reconsider your design.
I didn't say it had to look pretty.
A quick update
Just a quick update. I've registered for my courses, and I've gotten all the classes I need this semester, or rather the ones that I could get. The budget situation in California has made it increasingly difficult to actually get all classes in a timely fashion. Hypothetically, after this semester I'll have two classes left to complete.
List of classes
This semester I'll be taking the following classes:
Starting with a clean slate
It certainly has been a while since I've blogged about anything at all. I'm in the process of "Spring Cleaning", so to speak, but you know, in the summer.
The first step in this process was to clean up the site and finally get it established. As far as visually goes, I think I've got it down. The second step was (unfortunately) to start with a blank slate, which included deleting the two blog posts that were here, as well as the archive blog. I still have the mysql dump if I ever get nostalgic, but at this point, it was of no help nor entertainment to anyone.
