JFK

Well here I am, taking a much needed mini vacation completely away from San Francisco. Don't get me wrong, I love the city by the Bay, but lately I have been overworking myself to the extreme.

It comes with the territory, I suppose. After all, I am working nearly full time while being a full time student. It doesn't exactly make for the best in work life balance.

So why am I at JFK? My girlfriend. Ever since she started grad school on the east coast, it has been incredibly difficult to see her in person. Taking advantage of the holiday on Tuesday, I decided to make a weekend of it am go visit her in Rochester.

So why am I sitting here blogging about it instead if enjoying my vacation? Well I am waiting for a connecting flight here at jetBlue's recently opened terminal 5. The pictures make it look a lot cooler than it actually is, but hey who am I to complain when there is free wifi, right?

What really blows my mind, though, is the fact that this place is so crowded considering that only jetBlue uses this terminal. The again, JFK is jetBlue's main hub, so I suppose it makes sense.

Okay, 50 minutes to boarding, so I am going to head to my gate and stop tapping on my iPod like a crazy person.

Oh, before I forget, I did shoot last week, but I haven't had the chance to blog about it yet. Some took pictures too, so I'll see if I can get those before I post.
